Description | Upon completion of the course students will be able to more effectively use all four English language skills (reading, listening, writing, speaking) required in the modern workplace. Students will be able to more effectively communicate and collaborate in English meeting the requirements and challenges of professional environment of 21st century. The group size is max. 20 participant. The course will take place online during 4 working days 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. CET. The attendance for the course is obligatory as well as completion of all home assignments. Students who attend the course but fail to complete all assignments will be awareded Certificate of Attendance. On the other hand, students who attend the course and complete all home assignments will pass the course and will be awareded 3 ECTS points. The teachers are English language professors from the University of Novi Sad.

Content and Methodology | The course will be divided into 4 sections: - English language grammar and use; Correct pronunciation & intonation - Developing English language reading and listening skills - Developing English language writing skill - Developing English language speaking skill The course is divided into four sections and each section includes: pre-session assignment (1 hour), in-class activities (4 hours) and home assignment (2-3 hours), in total 30 hours. In-class activities include setting theoretical framework, discussions and interactive work-related tasks /situations with students supported by different audio-visual resources. The content of the course is adapted to the needs of the professional environment of 21st century. Special attention is paid to the requirements of working in multi-national and multi-cultural context in order to raise students’ awareness of cultural and ethnic diversities and contribute to creating healthy, collaborative and productive working environment. |
