Content and Methodology | Digital media have brought about fundamental changes in the media construction of identity, and this has an increasing impact on young people and their relationship to new technologies. The course aims to critically engage with these new identity formations mediated through new forms of moving images (video blogs, video selfies, video diaries, lifecasting, screenlife movies, TikTok shorts, etc.). In the second half of the workshop, participants will engage in a practical production exercise, creating their own short digital moving images that explore core analytical concepts. |
