Are you ready to make your digital life more sustainable and inclusive?

In today’s fast-evolving digital world, sustainability and accessibility have become essential dimensions of responsible technology use. This blended course (2 ECTS) will help you understand how digital technologies impact the environment, economy, and society—while equipping you with practical skills in digital accessibility. Open to Bachelor (3rd/4th year), Master, and PhD students from any field.

Content and Methodology

Course Format



  • Online Learning (from 24th November 2025 to 5th December 2025): 22 hours of online learners' dedication, including virtual sessions, self-learning and Q&A sessions.

  • In-Person Training (9th, 10th & 11th December 2025): 15 hours of hands-on workshops in Alcalá de Henares, home of UAH.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:



  • Understand the broad concept of sustainability and how it applies to digital technologies.

  • Identify and prevent the environmental impact of digital technology use.

  • Promote economic sustainability by using digital tools responsibly and efficiently.

  • Address the social impact of digitalisation, including digital well-being, ethical concerns, and accessibility.

  • Apply principles of digital accessibility to create more inclusive online environments.


 


Who Can Apply?



  • Undergraduate (3rd/4th year), Master, and PhD students from all disciplines.


Priority is given to students with strong English skills, prior digital training, and high academic performance. International students are highly encouraged to apply!
