| Description | The 4th edition of the GS Law International Summer School, entitled "Towards Sustainable Behaviors in the Era of Big Tech", builds on the reflections initiated during the 2025 edition on the pursuit of sustainable AI. It aims to explore how human behaviors are adapting to a new era dominated by major technological platforms, the Big Tech. The program seeks to understand the emerging challenges that Big Tech poses to contemporary societies and the ways in which different actors—individuals, institutions, and communities—respond and will respond. Beyond the critical issue of cognitive bias, the Summer School explores technological impacts on employees, consumers, and corporate leaders from a range of disciplinary perspectives, including philosophy, law, economics, management, computer science, and biology. By bringing together international scholars and practitioners, the Summer School aims to offer a plural and cross-disciplinary analysis of how sustainable AI can emerge and be shaped in the context of global digital transformations. The Summer School combines various formats, including masterclasses, workshops, and the Young Research program. Up to 2 students from each partner university can be selected to participate to the Summer School. |

| Content and Methodology | The 4th edition of the GS Law International Summer School, entitled "Towards Sustainable Behaviors in the Era of Big Tech", builds on the reflections initiated during the 2025 edition on the pursuit of sustainable AI. It aims to explore how human behaviors are adapting to a new era dominated by major technological platforms, the Big Tech. Three types of formats are used during the thematic school: masterclasses, which allow students to acquire the most up-to-date knowledge on the topic; workshops, during which students are invited to apply their knowledge and reflect on contemporary challenges raised by the development of AI; and presentations of their research by PhD students, which both give the latter an opportunity to present their work and allow participating students to become more familiar with legal research. |
