University of Alcalá is hosting the onsite 5th EUGLOH Annual Student Research Conference. The event offers PhD students from all fields an opportunity to share their scientific work. 

Students must specify their preference for an oral or poster presentation in the abstract submitted during the application process. The Organizing Comitte will arrange the requests depending on the number of students registered in each modality. 

The course will use a conference format with lectures (blended), oral presentations (blended), poster session (onsite) and discussion sessions (onsite). PhD participants must indicate in the forming part of their abstracts whether their intention is to attend onsite, and thus to participate in all activities of the conference, or be limited to an online attendance. Abstract 1-page length (keywords included).

- Critical thinking: Develop your ability to engage in reflective reasoning and independent thinking. 

- Creativity: Learn how to develop new ideas and opportunities. Innovative approaches.

- Leadership & Social Impact: Acquire the ability to inspire and engage everyone around you. Effective communication, persuasion, negotiation, and leadership.

- Ethics & Responsability: Mature your capacity to reflect critically about moral values and direct your actions accordingly. Commit to behave responsibly and contribute to society's development and well-being.
