Content and Methodology | The aim is to educate students for the use of modern information technologies for effective research work and for the dissemination of scientific results from the collected data. Overview of the basis of data processing in different biomedical applications and state-of-the-art examples presented by distinguished scientists from the five participating universities of the EUGLOH alliance. Introduction to the topic of artificial intelligence with a special focus on the multidisciplinary research activities. Target audience:Physical attendance at the University of Szeged (Hungary): maximum 30 students from bachelor, master and PhD programs from all faculties of the EUGLOH member universities. Online participation at the lectures: Students studying all education levels at the EUGLOH member universities. Requirements: No special background knowledge is required. The school is also open for junior and senior scientists of the participating universities. Please specify in your motivation letter whether you want to participate in person or online! HOW ARE PARTICIPANTS SELECTED?
WHAT PEDAGOGICAL METHODS/TOOLS ARE APPLIED?Personal lectures for students participating in person and online video streaming for distant education. Personal practical sessions by using computer applications for biomedical data analysis, telemedicine, image processing and artificial intelligence. Interactive communication tools, teamwork, networking. HOW ATTENDANCE IS AWARDED?EUGLOH Certificate and 4 ECTS will be provided for the students attending personally, and 2 ECTS for students following lectures online.
