LMU Munich Climate School 2026 is an interdisciplinary hybrid learning experience on climate change, taking place 5–10 October 2026 at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Designed for students of all disciplines the six-day English-language program brings together 20+ renowned lecturers to explore climate change from natural sciences, economics, law, health, communication, justice, policy, and resilience perspective. Participants also benefit from practical modules, field trips, discussions, and a hands-on COP simulation that makes international climate negotiations tangible.

Content and Methodology

The LMU Munich Climate School 2026 combines expert lectures, interactive learning formats, and practical activities to provide a broad, interdisciplinary understanding of climate change. Participants engage with key scientific, political, economic, legal, social, and ethical dimensions of the climate crisis through sessions led by international experts. The program include discussions, field trips, hands-on workshops, and a COP simulation that allows participants to experience the dynamics of international climate negotiations.
