| Description | Can games help us solve global health challenges? In this hands-on, multidisciplinary course, students will discover how serious games, that are games with a purpose beyond entertainment, can serve as powerful tools in global health education and advocacy. Centred around the One Health approach, this course empowers participants to design and deliver innovative teaching interventions tackling real-world global health issues. Throughout the course, participants will be introduced to the concepts of global health, explore the building blocks of game design, delve into simulation and educational game strategies, and collaborate in international teams to develop their own serious game prototypes. No prior experience in medicine or health sciences is required – students and staff from all academic backgrounds are welcome! Why Join?
