Description | The aim of Green Future Festival is to make students aware of the value of projects and teamwork, to help them develop a sense of community and social responsibility. The Organiser, the Desing and Art Management Department plays an active role in reaching out to urban communities, connecting them and transmitting culture. Its education is not something that takes place within four walls, but in real life, in society. Social design-focused education aims to create and strengthen a more liveable, sustainable urban community open to cultural values. It's the 5th occasion the Department is organizing this event, and this year, the four-day festival will be organised around the theme of sustainability and material culture in a cult underground location in the city and in external venues. Who should apply for the activity? All students from partner universities are welcome who are interested in the interrelatedness of sustainability, culture and design, and those, who are willing to play an interactive part sharing their ideas during the event and taking part in workshops. What can participants expect from the activity? An online introduction to the event appr. 1 month before the conference. In Szeged, you may expect a four-day series of events (workshops, presentations) in English on sustainability. The conference will include collaborative workshops with local students of the Design and Art Management Masters Programme and experts from all over the country. |
