Description

What is MUN?

Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations (UN) and international bodies such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the UN agency responsible for global public health.

Participants act as diplomats representing countries to debate global issues, negotiate solutions, and draft joint resolutions. Delegates must research their country’s positions, follow formal procedures, and engage in strategic, respectful negotiation.

In WHO-focused simulations, students tackle global health challenges and propose collective solutions—gaining insight into international health governance while building key skills in public speaking, policy analysis, negotiation, and intercultural collaboration.

About EUGLOH MUN

EUGLOH-MUN is a 3-day international simulation held at Université Paris-Saclay, bringing together students from all EUGLOH partner universities to explore global health governance through diplomacy.

Organized by the student association Saclay United Nations with students from the University of Hamburg, this year’s theme—“Redesigning Global Health Architecture in a Fragmented World Order”—invites students to explore new approaches to health cooperation amid political tensions and inequality.

Participants represent countries in WHO-style debates, negotiate and draft resolutions, and connect with peers across Europe—developing leadership, critical thinking, and global citizenship in an inclusive, student-led environment.
