"AI & One Health" Co-creation Workshop

Description

Over two days at CentraleSupélec (Université Paris-Saclay), participants will collaborate across disciplines to explore how AI can contribute to improving health, well-being, sustainability, and security. Through keynote speeches, oral presentations, poster sessions, and discussions organised around three thematic tracks, followed by a plenary wrap-up session, participants will examine the opportunities and challenges associated with AI, including ethical considerations, emerging research questions, and the integration of diverse scientific, technological, and societal perspectives.

By bringing together expertise from diverse disciplines, the workshop aims to explore how artificial intelligence can support the One Health approach (human, animal, and environmental health) by fostering interdisciplinary and innovative solutions.

Themes:

  • Human and Animal Health-Medicine - Prevention, public health, well-being, zoonoses, digital health.
  • Humanities and Social Sciences for One Health - Ethics, inclusion, governance, public policies, behaviors, societal impact of AI.
  • Environment, Resources, and Resilience - Biodiversity, climate change, food security, resources, environmental risks, sovereignty, and interdependencies.

Selection:


Selection of the candidates based on CV, cover letter and a short abstract of their poster presentation (related to Masters/PhD thesis). The applicants will be judged by EUGLOH’s scientific community, and the selected ones will be notified by email no later than mid-October.
