Develop practical strategies and skills for optimizing and creating resilient supply chains using Digital Twins with simulation capabilities.
This 40-hour course, split in 10 sessions, introduces students to the use of digital twins for supply chain logistics. Using real-life business cases and scenarios from European multinational companies, the students will learn to identify and solve common logistics challenges through simulation exercises. Strategical, tactical and operational perspectives are addressed.
A professional software environment (AnyLogistix3) is used for supply chain simulation and digital twin, where each student can reproduce the scenarios proposed. The required simulation environment licenses were purchased in the first edition of the course, so the initial financial investment can be efficiently returned.
Each session will focus on a specific problem, combining theory and hands-on simulation with AnyLogistix 3, Excel, and python notebooks to demonstrate practical solutions.
Also, free generative AI tools will be requested to be used for analytic purposes
