The 5th EUGLOH Plant Science Meeting is organized by the Plant Functional Biology and Biotechnology Master Course. It extends an open invitation to students of the EUGLOH Alliance Universities and the entire plant biology scientific community for participation and oral or poster presentation. It promises to be a remarkable occasion for exchanging research ideas, knowledge sharing, and collaboration, uniting students, academics, and researchers in the context of the EUGLOH Alliance.
The meeting will focus on three main topics (sessions): Plant Functional Genomics, Plant Physiology and Plant-Microbe Interactions. The final program includes two plenary lectures by distinguished international scientists aimed at inspiring students to pursue the field of plant biology, and it will be released soon.
Plenary lectures:
- Professor Veronica de Micco, University of Naples — “Plant Biology and Crop Production in Extra-Terrestrial Environments”;
- Professor Ágnes Szepesi, University of Szeged, Hungary — “Polyamine Catabolism and Hypusination in Plants During Salt Stress”.
You can participate either in person at Room FC5-2.78, Faculty of Science, University of Porto (limited due to venue capacity), or via online video streaming. The streaming link will be provided after registration.
Free participation, but registration is required!
