How can global health contribute to a more sustainable future?
How can we design health solutions that care for both people and the planet?
The Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU), under the umbrella of the European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH), is pleased to host for the third time the Global Health Day.
The event will bring together researchers, students, and professionals from a wide range of disciplines, including medicine, environmental sciences, social sciences, and policy, to explore the interconnections between health, sustainability, and equity.

The Global Health Day aims to provide a platform for dialogue and collaboration on how global health can contribute to sustainable development and equitable health solutions for future generations.
Registration until 07 December 2025
Participation is open to all — including students, researchers, academic and administrative staff, and other interested members of the public from any discipline related to global health, environmental and planetary health, sustainable healthcare systems, health policy and governance, social determinants of health, and health innovation.
There is no overall registration limit, but prior registration is required to attend keynote lectures, participate in workshops, or present posters.

Interested participants should send an abstract to globalhealthday@lmu.de. The abstract should include title, name(s) of presenter(s), short description, format, approximately half a page in length.

The Global Health Day encompasses a range of activities from talks to workshops, with networking at the forefront. The purpose is to bring together academics and students from the EUGLOH partner universities to exchange ideas and build contacts for future collaborations.
