Students will be introduced to the concept of interculturality (Geert H. Hofstede, Pierre Bourdieu, Philippe Descola…) related to themes specific to their discipline (e.g time, space, communication, organization, decision making, power distance)
For their joint final project they will together discuss, agree on and lay down some realistic and practical guidelines for the professional sector on how to promote diversity and intersectionality at work for the wellbeing and productivity of workers and managers.
Methodology
- 6 synchronous sessions with students from Paris Saclay (Master's in Ergonomics) and students from U. Porto (Master's Degree in Psychology Specialization in Organizational, Social and Work Psychology and Master’s degree in Adult Education and Training)
- Joint work on one of the defined themes
- Groups of 4/5 people from both countries
- Working language : English
- At the end of each videoconference session, students have to submit a summary of the work done
- Oral presentation of the final project group work |
