About the session – Effective Communication in the Workplace
Effective communication is one of the most valuable skills in any workplace — it helps build trust, prevent misunderstandings, and create a positive team environment.
In this interactive session, you will:
- Discover the difference between listening and hearing, and learn practical techniques to become a more active listener.
- Understand how to give and receive feedback effectively using the SBI model (Situation–Behavior–Impact).
- Explore common sources of workplace conflict and strategies for resolving them in a constructive way.
- Take part in a mini interactive exercise to reflect on how to handle difficult conversations.
- The session will finish with a Q&A and key takeaways to help you communicate with clarity, confidence, and empathy in your professional life.
