EUGLOH Business Talk with Aurora Energy Research

Our EUGLOH Business Talks are tailor-made to connect EUGLOH students with leading companies from our partner network. These events typically feature an introduction from the company, covering its profile, team, and career opportunities, followed by an engaging Q&A session moderated by two EUGLOH students. During the Q&A, all participants have the opportunity to ask questions and get to know the company in an informal setting. We highly encourage students to actively participate by turning on their cameras during the event and asking all their questions. This is an excellent way to make a professional impression and enhance communication with the company. This could be your chance to secure your first job or an exciting (international) internship!

Aurora Energy Research is a leading global provider of independent energy market analysis, offering data-driven insights and forecasts for the energy sector. Founded in 2013 by University of Oxford professors, Aurora focuses on helping clients dealing with the complexities of energy markets, with a particular emphasis on the transition to renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydrogen. The company provides expertise across various regions, including Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific, empowering stakeholders like investors, policymakers, and companies to make informed decisions in this evolving energy sector.

With its headquarters in Oxford and additional offices in Berlin, Sydney, and Madrid, the company’s expert team combines quantitative rigour with industry knowledge to provide actionable intelligence on topics such as decarbonization, electricity market reform, and energy storage. Aurora is now seeking talented graduates from diverse academic backgrounds, from undergraduate to PhD levels, with strong quantitative skills and knowledge of the energy market.

Two EUGLOH students from U.Porto and Universität Hamburg will moderate the Q&A session. Participants are welcome to pose all their questions to the company representative.
