EUGLOH Launches a New 2026 Roundtable & Webinar Series on Future Skills and Employability
In 2026, EUGLOH launches a new online roundtable series designed to promote dialogue, collaboration, and co-creation around future skills, employability, and lifelong learning. Building on the results of the WP4 & TG2 joint study on employability-promoting practices and on the discussions initiated at the EUGLOH Annual Summit 2025, this series will gather students, academics, researchers, companies, and public sector representatives from across the Alliance.
Taking place throughout the year, these roundtables will explore how universities, companies, and territories are preparing for the green and digital transitions—and how students and alumni can actively shape the future of work.
Objectives of the 2026 Roundtable Series
1st Online Roundtable – January 2026
Skills in Action: Universities and Companies Shaping the Future of Employability
EUGLOH warmly invites students, academic staff, researchers, administrative staff, alumni, career professionals, and all members of the EUGLOH community to join the first webinar of the 2026 Roundtable Series.
This session is open to everyone interested in future skills, employability, university–industry collaboration, and the opportunities emerging from the green and digital transitions. Whether you are exploring your career path, designing educational programmes, supporting student development, or collaborating with external partners, this webinar offers a valuable space for dialogue, learning, and co-creation.
The session will also present a visual summary of the study results on employability practices and will feature contributions from universities, companies, and municipalities. Students will be actively engaged through Q&A, polls, and collaborative digital tools.
Purpose of the Webinar
This first webinar inaugurates the 2026 EUGLOH Roundtable Series by continuing the discussions launched at the EUGLOH Annual Summit 2025. It will present the key findings of the study “Best Practices for Promoting Employability” and explore how universities, companies, and municipalities are preparing for the green and digital transitions within the Union of Skills framework.
Designed to be highly interactive and student-centred, the session will use polls, Q&A, and co-creation tools to spark reflection around the most urgent challenges related to future skills and employability.
