The CIH-LMU Symposia Series on Global Health 2026 is a PhD- and Master’s student-organized event that brings together international experts, researchers, and practitioners to explore how One Health can be put into practice in an era of overlapping crises. Against a backdrop of armed conflict, disease resurgence, economic instability, and disrupted supply chains, the symposium will examine how shrinking donor support, geopolitical tensions, and widening inequalities between high-income countries and LMICs are challenging health systems worldwide.

Together, we will discuss innovative approaches to governance, surveillance, and supply-chain resilience, and how to embed environmental sustainability into health and development planning to co-create fair, resilient, and sustainable One Health systems for future generations.
