Would you like to practice your Spanish, discover more about Spanish culture, and connect with colleagues from across Europe? Join the Language & Culture Café: Let’s Talk Spanish!, a series of informal online sessions organized by EUGLOH in the official languages of the Alliance and open to staff members from the nine EUGLOH partner universities.
This registration form is dedicated to participants interested in practicing and improving their spanish skills. Staff members who would like to join sessions in another EUGLOH language should register through the dedicated registration form for that language.
These interactive 30/45-minute sessions provide a relaxed and welcoming environment to practice spoken (…), explore cultural topics, exchange experiences, and build connections with colleagues across the EUGLOH Alliance.
Language: Spanish
Required prior language level: B1 (The sessions are delivered in Spanish, aiming at a B1 level. However, to further support comprehension and encourage participation from colleagues with more limited Spanish skills, all presentation slides and visual materials are provided in English.)
When: Fridays, 12:00-12:45 am CET
Programme: A Micro-Lecture Series on Spanish Language and Culture for the EUGLOH Community hosted by Universidad de Alcalá
Beyond the specific content of each session, the initiative seeks to create opportunities for informal exchange between participants from different countries and institutional backgrounds. The cafe format emphasises an open, welcoming atmosphere where questions, discussion and intercultural sharing are encouraged. This informal setting lowers participation barriers, making the programme attractive not only to language enthusiasts but also to staff members who may have limited previous experience with Spanish language or culture.
Join us for an enjoyable language-learning experience combining conversation, cultural discovery, and international exchange.
