The lecture is meant to draw attention to the importance of art in education, with an emphasis on scientifically oriented curricula/education. Creativity is key in scientific discovery and art is responsible for, and credited with its development. Art has long been neglected and kept aside, judged unnecessary in the scientific world, yet has historically had a primordial role in science (and humanity for that matter). The great scientists are the ones who, due to their creativity, manage to unlock and expose the invisible to the world.
