Emergency: resuscitation and life-threatening situations response.
Number of ECTS : 3
Prerequisites: A B2 Level of English is needed.
Methodology:
Online lectures, presentations, training on CPR+AED+other emergency scenarios both in adults and pediatric patients: Simulated based learning, critical incidents, crisis resource management (CRM), teamworking and problem-based learning will be used as methodologies.
Pre and post tests and wrap-up sessions will be possible after a flipped learning approach |

Content and Methodology |
CONTENT
In this course the following skills and situations will be approached:
- The ‘chain of survival’.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Automated External Defibrillation (AED).
- ‘Stop the bleed’ campaign: skills and protocol.
Other emergency scenarios.
METHODOLOGY
