The EUGLOH Alliance invites academic staff, educational developers, researchers, and innovation-oriented teachers from EUGLOH partner universities to participate in a joint training and co-creation activity focused on extended reality (XR), immersive technologies, and virtual laboratories.
This call targets participants interested in contributing to the design and future implementation of a common hybrid European course on XR, combining online learning with physical immersive lab experiences hosted across EUGLOH institutions.
The main objectives of this call are to:
Build a multidisciplinary group of participants engaged in XR-based education and training;
Support the co-design of a shared hybrid European XR course aligned with EUGLOH educational objectives;
Foster cross-institutional collaboration and exchange of pedagogical and technical expertise;
Promote innovative teaching practices using immersive and virtual learning environments;
Contribute to EUGLOH’s long-term strategy for joint, digitally enhanced education.
Expected Participation and Activities
Selected participants will:
Take part in a training activity hosted at the UiT Immersive Lab in Narvik;
Engage in hands-on sessions with XR technologies and virtual laboratories;
Contribute to collaborative workshops on course design, learning outcomes, and assessment;
Participate in the definition of a modular, hybrid XR course framework for future implementation;
Join a growing EUGLOH community of practice on immersive learning.

Collaborative Course Design Workshops and Hands-on Lab Development
